Great shot, Amanda! By capturing those perfect paw prints you set off a whole chain of questions in my mind. What kind of dog left them? Who it's people are, who else was walking the beach as he left this trail of prints. Well done.

This is exactly what a perfect day at the beach looks like!! My pups would be following those dog prints for miles, sniffing at them the entire way:)

Oh my goodness, this shot is SO ADORABLE. Those pawprints are absolutely perfect, and I love the perspective.
I also love the house in the background; it makes it look like that roaming dog was finding it's way home. :)

Fun picture, Amanda! We're headed to the beach next month so it's a great tantalizer for me. You did a wonderful job of capturing the contrast between the sky and the sand. And the deep impression of the paw prints conveys the energy of the creature that left them. I also liked the possible double meaning of the title "Beach Paws/Pause." There is so much of the beauty in life that we miss if we don't pause long enough to really see it. And I can tell that your photography is helping you to stop and really notice. Having recently been to the beach and tried to take pictures of footprints in the sand, your picture is awesome.

Mine looks like blobs of sand.

Great work! You must have worked a long time to get this just right!
